Letter
Letters have been considered one of the great comforts in the Christian life. People with modern technology take for granted letters, but they have played a vital role in Christian history. Friends used letters to grow their relationship over distances and comfort and exhort each other. Letters have been used to correct and reprimand churches and people. They have been written for instructions and planning. In fact, most of the New Testament is written in the format of letters (epistles). Although we may not find that letters are as useful in a modern society, any correspondence of this kind can grow the kingdom of God. A person can write letters to government authorities. C. S. Lewis and other authors used the format of letters to write creative books. People write letters to prisoners and veterans in order to share the Gospel or encourage and give hope. Let letters do the work of God.
