Defending the faith is an action that needs to be taken in the culture. Christianity has been under attack before and defending the faith is a historical practice that has biblical precedent. Perhaps, the clearest form is when Paul is in Athens in the book of Acts. In fact, multiple times in the Bible Christians see believers defending themselves. Christians do not always have all of the tools in order to accomplish the tasks that are at hand. A good way to prepare people for this task is to hold a small group for this purpose. Lead a group of people through content that teaches Christians how to defend the faith. Additionally, this can translate to evangelism.
